Impact 100 Grant

Last night the women of IMPACT 100 of NW FL came together to award 3 grants totaling $369,000 to 3 local non-profits. The recipients were:

COPE Center - to help fund the construction of an in-patient drug rehab facility for pregnant and postpartum women. Not only will they assist in helping women get off drugs, they'll also help prevent babies from being born addicted to drugs.

Okaloosa County School Foundation - to fund the Growth House at Silver Sands School where the students (severely physically and mentally disabled students) will work with community partners to grow plants to support the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance mission of Bay restoration along with other plants and veggies.

Walton County Habitat for Humanity - to purchase a new site for their Restore Program. The Restore Program recycles unused building supplies, selling them at much reduced prices to help fund the construction of housing for low income families.

Together this group of women is truly changing lives in our community. You can be part of this amazing group of women - membership for 2017 is now open!! Dawn Hollman, IMPACT 100 Board Member

Thanks Impact 100 for believing in us!

Our youth must feel to them it’s something all the time. As a trainer for Youth Mental First Aid, I teach non-professionals how to recognize signs and symptoms of mental illness and how to respond to individuals in helpful ways.
