Mental Health Residential Treatment
The Mental Health Residential Program operates three facilities located on Highway 331 South in DeFuniak Springs, Florida
The Lodge at the Pines
The Lodge at the Pines provides a residential, home-like environment with 24-hour care for 20 mentally ill residents in order to prevent their hospitalization and ultimately to prepare them for a less restrictive supervised living.
The Cabin at the Pines
The Cabin at the Pines provides residents the opportunity to transition into the community. In this two bedroom apartment, individuals have independence, yet the security of on-site staff if needed. The individuals actively work towards enhancing their basic skills.
The Cottage at the Pines
The Cottage at the Pines provides a residential, home-like environment with 24-hour care for 14 mentally ill residents. The Cottage is a less restrictive environment and is the natural progression of each resident after preparation in the more restrictive Lodge. The ultimate goal of the Cottage is to prepare the residents for supervised group living or life in the community.
